About Us

Steady Hearts was created in the middle of real life — not in a boardroom, not from a business plan, and not from theory.

It was born while navigating cancer alongside my parents.

Like Many Families

We were suddenly placed inside a system that moves quickly, speaks in medical language, and often assumes families know how to advocate for themselves. We didn’t. And we learned quickly that even with caring doctors, there are gaps — in communication, coordination, and support — that families are left to manage on their own.

My parents did everything they were told to do.

They trusted the system. And still, there were moments where information was missed, questions went unanswered, and decisions felt rushed or unclear. I stepped into the role many adult children and caregivers find themselves in — learning medical language on the fly, tracking medications, coordinating appointments, asking hard questions, and advocating when something didn’t feel right.

In Conclusion

Steady Hearts exists because no family should have to do that alone.

A Promise

Steady Hearts was built for families who don’t have “someone like me” in their corner — someone who will slow down, ask questions, notice details, and stay present when things get heavy.

If you’re here because you feel overwhelmed, unsure, or exhausted — you’re not failing. You’re navigating something hard.

Steady Hearts exists to walk beside you with clarity, compassion, and a steady heart.
